SYNOPSIS Filmed and produced in Alaska. College grad Seth is lost in life. On a whim, he decides to spend the summer in tiny Echo Lake, Alaska with hometown hunk Johnny Angel. Turned off by Johnny's supposed mojo, Seth finds kindred spirits in town drunk Jay and local girl Melanie, both of whom share with Seth the perception of an internal void. Seth's problem seems solved when town founder Luc commissions him to write his memoirs, but rears its ugly, existential head again when Jay's body is found torn in pieces. As the murder affects the town, Seth begins to realize that the pristine surface of Echo Lake conceals untold corruption, secret fears, and a dark terror within. • USA • 95 min.
